Hello WeGamers!
I’m very excited to announce our newest feature: Browser-based Chat! If you go to your “Online Friends” button at the bottom of the page and click to expand your list…
Then click the name of the person with whom you wish to chat…
Then send your message! Easy!
We hope you enjoy this new feature! As always, if you find any bugs, please email help@wegame.com.

This is fantastic!
You may of noticed that Zamros and a few others including myself have been planning a music video with WeGamer’s taking part– well this new chat is perfect for “little questions” that isn’t worth a forum reply, but neccsary.
Well done coders :D Its like facebook chat except not full of people who think their social because they talk to people on the internet instead of shooting them!

umm… what happened to you guys not wanting to make a chat?? you guys told us to just use steam chat…. why the sudden change of hart??

This doesn’t work for me :( I click on the Friends tab, and it shows the 2 friends online, and then i can click show all friends, but then it just goes to my profile :/ It looks like a really awsome feature :)
Or is it because it isen’t released yet? xP

@ DavidSS: don’t click “show all friends”
it only works with your friends online now in the little popup window :)

I love the chat, but there is no way to know you have gotten a msg if you’re on a different tab or anything, I find this a major pain.
also another thing I haaaate, after a certain ammount of time, the msg you sent will vanish. is there no way this could be removed? if someone doesn’t get your msg in time (like if they’re on another tab/different window/afk, etc) then its gone for good & you gotta remember & re-type what you had said before. this is nothing but stress, especially when you’re wanting to talk to someone about an important issue.
and being able to click links in chat would be sweet, just gotta copy+paste atm. lol
anyway if you could, maybe model it more after Google Chat? that would be kickass!! with the pop-out function so it’ll blink in your task bar (or something) so you know when you get a msg, that’d be awesome!
Don’t get me wrong, I love this new WeGame chat & have used it quite a few times(I like the timestamp you added also) I just hope to help improve the functionality :)
