Yes, today is WeGame’s birthday! One year ago from today, we released WeGame to the world. TechCrunch was the first site to welcome us to the interwebs with this blog post:

It’s been an incredible 365 days since that day. Our user base has grown incredibly, tons of videos have been uploaded, and we even released version 2 of WeGame in November which added screenshots to our set of features.
WeGame as a company has grown as well. When we launched a year ago, our team was just 4 people. Today we have 12 people located in San Francisco, Chicago, and Australia. We continue to improve WeGame on daily basis and continually strive to help gamers easily share their gaming experiences.
2009 will be a very exciting year for us. We are working on some exciting new developments that will change the way you play games and communicate with fellow gamers. Although the global economy is entering a gloomy time, we have very supportive investors who believe in our vision and continually help us work towards our goal. You can be assured WeGame is not going anywhere, it will be going quite strong :)
Today may be WeGame’s birthday, but all of us at WeGame would like to thank you, the user, for helping us get where we are today. Without you, WeGame would not have been able to be where it is today! /cheer
