Hey WeGamers,

The past 24 hours have been insane! We’d like to thank all the people who sent feedback and game suggestions to us over the past day. Your feedback is helping us make WeGame a better product for everybody.

Today we’ve added 3 new game categories to the WeGame.com site:

  • Starcraft
  • Halo Series
  • Guitar Hero

At the moment, the WeGame client does not record these games (Halo and GH are console), but we wanted to let users with existing videos to be able to upload them to the appropriate categories.

We’ve been reading all your feedback about the games and features you want on WeGame. Now it’s time for us to get cracking on them! Check back soon for some new goodies :)

    You guy should try and add Lineage 2 to your Supported Games list.

    Hello there. The stuff looks very promising!

    Some feedback & comments:
    - support for UTF8 in comments (and everywhere) is needed (example in comments here: http://www.wegame.com/watch/St_Youen_Vs_CRV/)
    - there are some inconsistencies in members URLs: sometimes /users/Ozh/, sometimes /users/?u=Ozh is used (see comments again)
    - should add a direct link to the blog in the footer :)
    - have thresh post some old skool stuff! :)
    - the “Record” page could have more technical details. I found the news item on Techcrunch more valuable, to be honest.

    whats up with xfi soundcards not being able to record audio ? it just picks up my mic imput even if i have wave selected this needs working on . apart from that wegame rules love it!

    Mark: What is the exact name of the Stereo Mix equivalent device on your Xfi card? Is it called Wave Out or something similar?

    I just raised this on the IRC chan, but can you please add support for Empires and other HL2 mods?

    I thought I would just write it down here as well, hope you don’t mind the duplicity.

    Oh and what font is this? Constantina? I like it.

    I cant seem to login, maybe because I need to use proxy settings to get internet to work. Is there any way you could get the login to allow proxy settings? I only want to be able to record videos, which right now requires me to login :(

    Site looks promising! I’d just like to offer up some suggestions…

    I can’t see a place to change preferences for E-mails. All sites should have a setting to receive no E-mails at all, or “only for private messages” etc.

    I can’t say I know how the video capture works, but there should be a way to allow the user to record from any game, even if not “officially” supported (and provide no warrantee if it breaks)

    When opening WeGame videos in VirtualDub, I get some strange warning about the codec used. At some point, maybe look into it.

    RSS feeds from users and channel owners.
