Release Candidate 1.6
Hey all,
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. 2008, go go go!
We just pushed Release Candidate 1.6 out a couple minutes ago. WeGame should automatically update if you have it installed to the default directory.
Upgrading: If you currently have WeGame installed to a directory that isn’t \Program Files\WeGame, the update will not run successfully. If this applies to you, download the latest installer from the WeGame website and run it manually (point it to wherever you have WeGame installed).
We’ve made a lot of changes in RC 1.6, but here are the major ones:
- Better game support/reliability
We’ve done a lot of messing around, so WeGame should be able to get into your games more reliably now - Better sound support
If you have a Stereo Mix or equivalent option on your sound card, WeGame should now record sound. Sound is still beta, so we apologize for any issues ahead of time :) - New games added
Hellgate London (Windows XP only), Quake 4
If you have any problems with the latest release, please let us know by commenting on this post or e-mail us at help@wegame.com.

I have a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 and don’t have stereo mix, instead I have “What U Hear”. The app reports that it won’t record sound but it actually does record my mic, or my heavy breathing to be precise.
Let me know if you would like any additional information.
